Abstract: [Study of 65 species from 14 genera using ITS, β-tubulin, GAPDH and mtSSU sequences. The genera Cetraria, Flavocetraria and Tuckermannopsis appear to be polyphyletic. "The single non-DNA character with a strong correlation to phylogeny based on DNA-sequences is conidial shape." Secondary chemistry notes are included for Cetraria annae with additional anatomical comments on C. minuscula.]
