Abstract: [Study using ITS, nu LSU and mt SSU sequence data shows that Karoowia should be included in Xanthoparmelia. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. lyrigera (Brusse) Amo, A. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. microscopica (Hale) Amo, A. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. perspersa (Stizenb.) Amo, A. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. protocetrarica (Hale) Amo, A. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. ralla (Brusse) Amo, A. Crespo, Elix & Lumbsch, X. salazinica (Hale) Amo, A.
