The basis for this list is the information published in this literature series in The Bryologist, but all references were rechecked against the original papers to obtain page citations and basionyms. The work concludes the species indices for the lichen-forming fungi (Those of Zahlbruckner and of Lamb), and lichen names published after 1969 appear in the Index of Fungi.]
